Our Story…

Started by visionary technocrat Muralikrishnan with his associate Gokul Kumar in 1984, with the intention of making electronics and associated products ubiquitous and affordable to everyone. The footing stone of operation was with servo voltage stabilizers and uninterruptible power supplies, designed and developed indigenously, was introduced by N.J. Electronics (“NJE”) with product brand name “Swathi”.

In the year 1987, a joint venture with KVTek Puducherry, with technology of Lambda power supplies was established to produce computer PC SMPS catering to almost all computer manufacturer start-ups of India. With greater demand in import substitution for computer peripherals, the organisation added one more division for dot-matrix print head refurbishing with warranty on service. NJE established a gold standard for the consumers as to what to expect on a purchase. The dot-matrix print head refurbishing had become a monopoly business for NJE till 1999.

Several awards and accolades decorated the existence of the organization. With the advent of Inkjet and Laser printers, the organisation diversified into main stream PC business and upgraded to servers and solutions as it stands since 1994 under the banner of N.J.Dataprint Private Limited (“NJDPL”).

In all endeavours, NJDPL have been constantly associated with defence, premier educational Institutions, research establishments and several start-ups in establishing complete backhaul and front-end compute environments, with appropriate sizing and scaling considered. NJDPL delivers unparalleled High Performance Compute clusters (HPC), massively scalable high performance storage solutions, progressively scalable render farms, establishing AI environment with complete suite, and Big data requirements. The role of NJDPL starts from conceptualizing to commissioning of the above activities at all scales.

NJDPL drives all products under different home brands for desktops, workstations, servers and storages. With a prime focus on reliability over client-side warranty, NJDPL is aimed at continual refinement in quality assurance of the product with acquired accreditation of ISO-9000. The DNA runs deep – to reduce the foreign exchange (“FX”) and provide higher employment opportunities, NJ group conceptualized refurbishing of print heads and going forward coupled with the government initiative of Make in India (“MII”), manufacture of power supplies, memory modules, chassis, and several accessories are in the production line.
